in Clement. de Statu Monach. c. 1. Aestivalibus largis aut botis altis pro calceamentis utantur: ocreae sunt, calceorum species, quibus aestate utebantur. Gloss. Lat. Gall. Ocreae, heuse, ou estivaux. Glossa ad Clementinam, Aestivalia in vulgari vocamus stiv ali et sunt calceamenta corii, quibus in aestate utor et optima sunt apud S. Severinum. Botis altis, quae capiunt supra talos et aliquid de crure, et ligantur quandoque et hos vocat infra sutilares (sotulares) corrigiatos.
